Welcome to Cloud Pro Advisor. I am committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This policy explains what information I collect when you visit cloudproadvisor.com or use any of my related services, how it is used, and the rights you have over it.

2. Information I Collect

I only collect personal information that you voluntarily provide when you contact me, book a call, or engage me for consulting work. This may include:

  • Names, phone numbers, and email addresses
  • Job titles and the name of your organisation
  • Business information you share while we work together — for example, details about your operations, CRM contacts, or financial systems when I am helping you integrate or automate them

I do not collect sensitive personal data (e.g. health information, racial or ethnic origin) unless it is essential to a project you have asked me to work on, and then only with your explicit agreement.

3. How I Use Your Information

Information you provide is used to:

  • Respond to your enquiries and schedule discovery calls
  • Deliver the consulting, integration, or automation work you have engaged me for
  • Send administrative information such as invoices and appointment reminders (via Calendly)
  • Meet legal, accounting, and tax obligations

I do not use your information for advertising, nor do I sell it to anyone.

4. Chat Bot

Cloud Pro Advisor uses an AI-powered chat bot on this website to answer common questions about my services.

Questions you ask the chat bot and the bot's responses are stored for up to 30 days for quality review, then automatically deleted. No other personal information is collected.

Your own browser also keeps a local copy of your chat history (stored in your browser's localStorage) so that you can continue a conversation between sessions. You can clear this at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

5. Cookies & Browser Storage

This site uses the minimum storage needed to function:

  • Consent preference — when you accept or decline the cookie notice, your choice is stored in your browser so the notice does not reappear on every visit.
  • Chat history — the AI chat widget saves your conversations in your browser's localStorage so you can continue a chat later. This never leaves your device unless you send a message to the bot (see section 4).
  • Calendly — when you open the booking widget, Calendly sets its own cookies to operate the scheduler. These are only loaded if you accept cookies on this site.

No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking, no analytics pixels are used.

6. Third-Party Services

I use a small number of trusted services to run my business. Each has its own privacy policy, which you can review directly:

  • GoDaddy — website hosting
  • Calendly — appointment scheduling
  • Google Workspace / Microsoft 365 — email and document collaboration
  • SureForms — contact form processing
  • Railway — hosting for the AI chat bot

Information is only shared with these providers to the extent needed to deliver the service you have requested.

7. How I Keep Your Information Safe

I have implemented appropriate technical and organisational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information I process. However, please remember that no electronic transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

8. Data Retention

I keep your personal information only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this policy, or as required by law. Chat bot interactions are retained for up to 30 days (see section 4). Contact and project records are retained for the life of our working relationship and up to six years afterwards for tax and legal purposes.

9. Your Privacy Rights (UK & GDPR)

If you are in the UK, the EU, or the EEA, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • The right to access the personal data I hold about you
  • The right to request correction or erasure of your data
  • The right to restrict or object to processing of your data
  • The right to data portability
  • The right to withdraw consent at any time, where consent is the basis of processing

To exercise any of these rights, email CloudProAdvisor@benbloss.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

10. Changes to This Policy

I may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always tell you when the most recent change was made.
